Crime Prevention Measures: Examples of Using Mirrors for Preventing Accompaniment in Apartments
FF mirror passage left and right (FT34)
As a measure to prevent group travel, we have introduced the "FF Mirror Corridor Left and Right (FT34)."
We introduced FF mirror corridors as a measure to prevent tailgating in the condominium. Here are the voices from L Mansion. As a security enhancement measure at the condominium entrance, we installed mirrors for tailgating prevention. We were also proposed a small mirror to be attached to the auto-lock control panel, but after trying out a larger type installed above the control panel, we received feedback from residents that "the larger one has better visibility and is more effective." Therefore, we adopted the 'FF mirror corridor left and right (FT34).' Since the presence of the mirror can also be confirmed from the outside, it has contributed to raising security awareness, and I feel that choosing the large mirror was the right decision. In particular, residents with children expressed a desire for it to be installed, and I feel that we are contributing to creating a safe and secure living environment. Before purchasing, we were able to hear the opinions of residents who experienced the actual visibility during installation through the "free loan system," which allowed the management association board to adopt it with confidence. The installation was also easy.

Company information
When it comes to mirrors, most people probably think of mirrors that reflect only themselves (such as full-length mirrors, hand mirrors, or three-way mirrors). However, Komi's mirror is designed to observe the movements of other objects and people, as well as to show "consideration" for others. For example, one can check with the mirror to see if anyone is coming around a corner to avoid a collision, or to check if someone is trying to get on an elevator and wait for them... Komi's "considerate mirror" is useful all over the world, from convenience stores to airplanes.
