Aggreko has officially begun the domestic rollout of temporary power solutions for regions where grid power is unavailable or where it takes a long time to establish power infrastructure. Aggreko operates power solutions in over 100 countries worldwide and will also expand its services in Japan, focusing on isolated locations such as farms in mountainous areas, aquaculture sites along the coast, and remote islands or new development areas.

Introduction of Representative Case Studies in Japan As a case study in Japan, there is the example of "the introduction of temporary power supply provided for a poultry egg production factory" in Shizuoka Prefecture. A large-scale poultry egg production factory located in the mountainous area of Shizuoka Prefecture required 2MW of electricity per day due to increased production. The existing power transmission network could only supply 0.5MW, and it was expected to take over two years to develop the power infrastructure. In response, Aggreko conducted thorough on-site investigations by engineers to provide the optimal solution and considered whether it was possible to handle everything from power design → installation → trial operation → operation → maintenance in a one-stop manner.

The solution provided by Aggreko Aggreko's engineers conducted a detailed survey on-site and decided to install a 2MW power generation system (four 1400kVA generators). They carefully coordinated with the factory operations team on the design drawings and operational conditions, completing the installation and commissioning of the generators in just 14 days. Furthermore, they responded to the request to continue using A heavy oil (AFO), which the factory had been using in existing equipment as fuel, by establishing a special supply system that included dedicated pumps and filters.
