【Lecture Overview】 In achieving the global challenge of a circular economy, the recycling of plastics, alongside metals, is an urgent issue. In our country, the goal is to realize zero simple incineration and landfilling by 2035. Currently, nearly 8 million tons of plastic are being discarded, with polyolefins, represented by polyethylene, polypropylene, and polystyrene, accounting for about 70% of this amount. Establishing recycling technologies for these materials is a significant challenge.
