For remote monitoring of smart meters. LPWA modem that covers underground and mountainous areas.
In the energy industry, the spread of smart meters is advancing, and remote monitoring of electricity usage is being demanded. Particularly in areas such as underground or mountainous regions where radio waves are difficult to reach, the stability of communication is crucial for data collection. If communication is interrupted, it becomes challenging to accurately grasp electricity usage, potentially hindering efficient energy management. Our 429MHz ultra-long-range LoRa wireless module addresses these challenges through long-distance communication and high diffraction capability. 【Use Cases】 * Data collection from smart meters * Monitoring electricity usage in underground and mountainous areas * Data transmission in locations where communication infrastructure is not established 【Benefits of Implementation】 * Accurate grasp of electricity usage through stable data collection * Efficient energy management through remote monitoring * Reduction of communication costs

Applications/Examples of results
【Application】 It can be used for the collection of sensor data and device information (telemetry) across a wide range of fields, as well as for remote control (telecontrol). Specifically, it helps solve issues related to IoT/M2M communication in long-distance and obstacle-rich environments, such as monitoring water levels in rivers and dams, transmitting equipment data from inside manholes, remote notifications for debris flow warning systems, and wireless control of highway signs. Due to its low voltage and low current consumption operation, it is ideal for integration into battery-powered systems in outdoor environments where securing power is challenging.
