The "MGate-G2 Series" is a next-generation Modbus gateway that converts between Modbus TCP, RTU, ASCII, as well as proprietary specifications and extended Modbus serial protocols. It transparently converts protocols, actively polls connected devices, and caches data in memory. These features allow SCADA systems to directly obtain Modbus data from the gateway without waiting for responses from all Modbus devices.
