This system is a dedicated sensing system product specialized for hydrogen leak detection and monitoring, utilizing a patented special optical fiber sensor from UFS ARK in the U.S. (As of April 2026, the product status is still in the prototype stage with development elements remaining, and a commercial product announcement is planned within the year.) The advantages of the optical fiber sensor, such as long-distance and wide-area deployment, electromagnetic field resistance, and inherent explosion-proof properties, can be maintained while also allowing for the installation of sensors for detecting other parameters like strain, temperature, and vibration on the same fiber line. [About UFS ARK, Inc.] UFS ARK is a joint venture between the Dutch UFS and the American OgMentum, headquartered at West Kentucky University in Kentucky, USA, with R&D and manufacturing facilities.
