Existing Communication Network Utilization Type Labor Safety Management DX Device
PLUM005
Woodpecker-kun (Noise Environment Communication Device)
[Redevelopment] Aiming for zero solitary deaths in forestry. A proposed technology from 10 years ago is making a comeback as a "Labor Safety Management DX Device"! Developed with support from the Tokyo Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion Corporation's 2016 Advanced Disaster Prevention Technology Practical Application Support Project. Acquired technology for integration with smartphones through Tokyo's Open Innovation initiative. Although 10 years have passed, the issue of smartphone communication being out of range in domestic forests remains unresolved, and the combination of smartphone and transceiver devices is not permitted in Japan. Therefore, we have decided to revive "this system" conceived a decade ago. ~ Connecting lives with existing radios even outside smartphone coverage. Crowdfunding on CAMPFIRE starts in April ~ Plum System Co., Ltd. is redeveloping the "Existing Communication Network Utilization Type Labor Safety Management DX Device (nickname: Mr. Woodpecker)," which automatically detects falls and accidents of workers in communication-challenged environments such as forests and alerts colleagues to emergencies through existing business radios. We aim for mass production of this product. To promote its spread and establish a mass production system, we will launch a pre-sale project on the crowdfunding platform "CAMPFIRE" starting at the end of April 2026.

Detailed information
-

Basic Connection Image 1) The communication distance varies depending on the performance of the SOS sender's transceiver. 2) The SOS receiver sets up the transceiver group. 3) When the SOS receiver receives the SOS... they tap their helmet with the hammer unit. For more details, please contact us.
-

1) The main unit and smartphone are connected via BLE. Set shock parameters and other settings using the smartphone app. 2) Connecting to commercial transceivers: Connect the transceiver's earphone connector. Connect the microphone connector. Connect the PTT connector. 3) By simply turning the PTT (transmission function) of the transceiver ON and OFF, SOS signals and sounds from the site will be transmitted to surrounding companions.
