The card reader allows reading and writing between various media (exclusive use between SD/MMC and microSD slots, and between MS and M2 slots). It supports direct insertion of microSD, microSDHC, and Memory Stick Micro. It extends USB 2.0 from the motherboard to the front. It does not use the rear ports due to header pin connections. No drivers are required; it operates with the standard Windows drivers.
