Revisiting the processing of difficult-to-cut materials that cannot be cut or held.
UF15α-CU-RO
Heat, wear, tool life. Addressing the challenges of machining difficult-to-cut materials.
Cannot be cut, tools do not last, processing is unstable―― These challenges frequently arise in the machining of difficult-to-cut materials. Heat-resistant alloys such as Inconel and Hastelloy (difficult-to-cut materials) tend to retain heat and concentrate it at the machining point, leading to tool wear and seizing. This product, through strong alkaline electrolyzed water (SAIW) and a dedicated additive, achieves excellent wettability and cooling properties. By enhancing the liquid's accessibility to the machining point, it helps to reduce heat concentration and contributes to process stabilization. Furthermore, under certain conditions, there have been confirmed cases of increased tool life and improved feed conditions, leading to enhanced productivity. In actual field applications, results have been observed that extend tool life and improve machining conditions for difficult-to-cut materials, including heat-resistant alloys. Transitioning from conventional oil-based machining to cooling and contact control using water. Please check with test evaluations first. *Effects may vary depending on material, tools, and machining conditions. Please confirm details through testing.
