Contributing to weight reduction with static electricity! Introducing the potential of film fixation in space development through experimental videos.
In the space development industry, reducing the weight of rockets and satellites is an important challenge. Weight reduction leads to lower launch costs and an increase in the equipment that can be carried. In particular, securing films and thin films in space requires a lightweight and reliable method. Traditional adhesives carry the risk of increased weight and degradation due to environmental changes in space. Our electrostatic film attachment experiment presents a solution to these challenges. 【Application Scenarios】 - Securing insulation films on spacecraft - Securing protective films on solar panels - Simple material securing inside space stations 【Effects of Implementation】 - Weight reduction by eliminating the need for adhesives - Simplified attachment process - Compatibility with various materials
