Multi-user simultaneous participation VR tracking system "LPVR-CAD"
LPVR-CAD SYSTEM / LP-RESEARCH
Fusion of optical and inertial sensors. Achieving sub-millimeter precision low-latency tracking in extensive multi-user environments. Enhancing immersion to the utmost limit.
【External Optical Tracking + Inertial Sensor Fusion for Low-Latency, Wide-Area VR Tracking】 LPVR-CAD is an industrial VR/AR tracking system that surpasses the room-scale (approximately 5m x 5m) limitations of consumer HMDs by integrating external optical tracking (outside-in) from systems like ART, OptiTrack, and VICON with LP-RESEARCH's proprietary high-precision IMU and head motion prediction algorithms. ■ Sub-Millimeter Accuracy, Zero Latency, 1000Hz Update Position accuracy is at the sub-millimeter level, with rotation accuracy of 0.2°. The unique prediction algorithm achieves virtually zero latency, preventing VR motion sickness and allowing for extended immersive experiences. ■ Wide Area, Multi-User Simultaneous Participation Simultaneous tracking of multiple HMDs and controllers in expansive areas of over 15m x 15m. Proven implementations in Audi Holodeck, Bandai Namco VR Zone, Sandbox VR, etc. ■ Flexible Compatibility with HMDs and Software Compatible with Varjo XR-3/XR-4, HTC VIVE Pro 2, Valve Index, and more. Usable with applications compatible with Unity, Unreal, Autodesk VRED, and SteamVR.

Delivery Time
※Typically, delivery is made about 4 to 6 weeks after the specifications are finalized. We accommodate add-on implementations to existing optical systems such as ART/OptiTrack and customization for new space construction. Support is provided not only domestically but also quickly through our US branch "Xikaku" for North America and Europe.
Applications/Examples of results
LPVR-CAD enables "verification before creating a physical object" and "shared experiences in a wide spatial context." - Large-scale design reviews for automobiles and aircraft: Full-scale real vehicle CAD is reviewed in 360° simultaneously by multiple engineers and designers, such as in the Audi Holodeck. - Full-size digital mockups: Equipment design, piping interference, and ergonomic evaluations are verified before physical prototypes are made, strongly supporting front-loading design. - Location-based VR (LBE): Builds synchronized arcade experiences for multiple players in venues like Bandai Namco VR Zone and Sandbox VR. - Building Information Modeling (BIM) verification for architecture and construction: Displays BIM models at full size for on-site verification before construction. - Exhibitions and showrooms: Demonstrates large equipment that is difficult to transport at full size.
