We would like to introduce the use of swivel joints (commonly known as float suction) adopted by a major Southeast Asian engineering company operating in nine countries. Fuel storage tanks contain impurities such as water and sediment, which are different from the fuel. These impurities are heavier than the fuel and settle at the bottom of the tank, so our customer's request was to extract fuel from the cleanest upper layer (liquid surface). The float, positioned at the highest point, always floats on the surface of the fuel due to its buoyancy, ensuring that the extraction port is always close to the liquid surface. In this case, the adoption was decided not only for the swivel joint but also for the design and proposal of a complete assembly tailored to the customer's requirements.
