High torsional rigidity flange coupling for pump drives
REICH's RCT coupling provides the optimal drive solution for connecting diesel engines and hydraulic pumps. The RCT coupling's high torsional stiffness design allows the resonance frequency to be shifted to a range above the operating speed. This avoids the amplification of torsional vibrations due to resonance, enabling safe operation of the drive system. The RCT coupling is designed as a flange coupling that can be inserted axially, similar to the proven ARCUSAFLEX coupling. The coupling consists of a robust metal internal body and a thin rubber coating that effectively dampens torque shocks. Additionally, it can accommodate small axial, radial, and angular displacements commonly seen in flange-mounted hydraulic drives. It supports a variety of standard spline tooth profiles, allowing for a backlash-free clamping connection between the RCT coupling and the pump shaft. The coupling flange is compatible with SAE flywheel dimensions. A bell housing flange that can connect combustion engines and hydraulic pumps is also available.
