By cutting the outer box at the top and bottom and then gluing the inner box together, it can achieve a shape similar to a three-piece inlay box while only using two pieces. Additionally, the cut shapes accommodate not only straight lines but also curves. This design reduces the number of components compared to standard inlay cosmetic boxes, leading to cost savings. It can be produced in both small and large quantities.
