[Improvement Case] Issues with Work Conveyor - Kaizen
MACOME CORPORATION
The limit switch of the work conveyor is malfunctioning, causing frequent troubles! Is there any improvement?
We would like to introduce a case where we improved the issues with the work conveyor. A contact-type limit switch was used for stopping the work conveyor, and there were trouble factors such as the fixed part of the rotating lever loosening and not detecting it, and the target metal object being worn down and not detected. Our magnetic proximity switch "SW-270A" is a non-contact type, so there is no occurrence of troubles due to loosening of the fixed part. [Challenges] ■ The fixed part of the rotating lever loosens and does not get detected. ■ The target metal object of the fixed lever wears down and does not get detected. ■ Due to the large impact in certain areas, the lever malfunctions and the conveyor does not stop. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

basic information
【Points of Kaizen and Expected Customer Effects】 ■ The SW-270A is a non-contact type, so there are no issues with loosening of the fixed parts. ■ The detection target of the SW-270A is a magnet, and since it is non-contact, there is no concern about wear. ■ It employs a "saturable coil" in the magnetic detection element, providing a wide detection area, making it usable even in areas with significant impact. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
