This is an example of the introduction of a "High-Speed Picking System with Parallel Link Robots" at a food manufacturer. At the company, there were two lines where empty trays were supplied, noodles were arranged and packed, and the packed trays were stacked again, all performed manually by four workers. The packing operation for two lines was automated with a device equipped with two parallel link robots. By introducing a stacking and unstacking device for the trays, the only task left for humans was to load and unload the trays stacked on the cart.
