Tsukuba Food Evaluation Center, a company within the Prima Ham Group, is a technical service company that conducts food quality inspections and sells inspection kits. In food inspections, we perform various tests related to food safety, including general microbiological and nutritional analysis, as well as tests for foodborne pathogens, pesticide residues, veterinary drugs, food allergens, foreign matter, and radiation. We also conduct quality inspections related to texture and color tests, aroma component analysis, taste analysis using taste sensors and amino acid analysis, sensory evaluation, and the setting of expiration and best-before dates. Since 2021, we have started selling allergen testing kits developed by Prima Ham, utilizing insights gained from allergen testing research to provide our customers with the most suitable inspection kits. Our experienced staff, who have been involved in research and quality control related to microbiology, food allergies, and pesticide residues, assist in providing safe and reliable food. Our company has obtained ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, which is an international standard for assessing the technical competence of laboratories conducting tests and calibrations, for many testing items, and we aim to continue being a reliable testing laboratory.
