The "Portable HT System(R)" is a local exhaust and dust collection device that addresses the challenges of local exhaust and dust collection, which are typical measures on-site, and reduces risks. As a result of risk assessment through control banding, cases where "dust collection and local exhaust" can be selected as an engineering method for worker exposure mitigation are identified. Additionally, even when containment measures such as isolators and split valves are implemented, there are exposure risks during product recovery or valve disconnection, and "local exhaust and dust collection" is effective as a risk reduction measure. Since it is mobile, it can capture highly active substances close to the dust generation source. <Usage Scene 1> Utilizing the advantages of mobility for powder product recovery, it collects airborne dust near the work area, reducing the exposure risk for workers. Unlike systems that collect dust at the end of a long duct path through a bag filter, this method collects dust close to the dust-generating area, eliminating the risk of bringing active substances into the downstream duct path. Once powder accumulates in the duct path, it is virtually impossible to remove, which can pose a cross-contamination risk from a product quality perspective and a dust explosion risk from a safety perspective. However, by collecting dust close to the dust-generating area, these risks can be mitigated.
