■Mechanoporation Corresponding to Clinical Scales MilliBooster, like the Gateway lab device, is based on a unique mechanoporation delivery system that enables the efficient introduction of various molecules and drugs into a wide range of cell types. As cells pass through the micropores on a specially designed silicon membrane, transient changes occur in the cell membrane, allowing for the delivery of various substances into the cells. Since the micropores used in MilliBooster are the same size as those used in Gateway, scaling up from Gateway to MilliBooster can be achieved smoothly. MilliBooster is a cartridge-shaped product that connects to the tubes of existing automated cell processing systems (such as Thermo Fisher Scientific's CTS Rotea system and Fresenius Kabi's LOVO system). The processing volume of cells for mechanoporation can be set by the automated cell processing system, allowing for the introduction of drugs or nucleic acids into more than 1×10⁹ cells per minute.
