Applications/Examples of results
- Ideal for recovering floating oil from machine tools (NC lathes, machining centers, etc.), grinding machines, and cleaning machines. - Reduces the decay of coolant liquids, bacteria, and the occurrence of unpleasant odors. - Extends tool life.
Detailed information
-

(The Core of the Mechanism) "Thin oil accumulates → Concentration → Air becomes blocked → Oil is pushed out by air pressure." 1. The separation of oil and water begins. The oil-water mixture drawn from the float enters the separation tank. → Water sinks due to the difference in specific gravity and is discharged from the water outlet. Thin oil floats on top and remains at the same height as the water outlet. Air passes through the thin oil layer and exits through the oil outlet.
-

2. Thin oil accumulates and concentration begins. The floating thin oil mixes with newly inhaled oil and gradually becomes thicker. At this stage, the oil level does not rise yet, and air can pass through the oil layer.
-

3. As the oil layer thickens and becomes denser, air becomes less able to pass through. When the oil layer becomes even denser, air cannot escape at all. The trapped air, having lost its escape route, accumulates in the tank as weak pressure.
-

4. The oil is pushed out by air pressure. In a sealed tank, the weak air pressure accumulated at the bottom pushes up the entire oil layer. → The concentrated oil is pushed out from the oil outlet. 5. After discharge, it returns to a thin oil state. When the concentrated oil is discharged, the oil layer becomes thin, and air can pass through again. → The oil level returns to the height of the water outlet. Through the natural pressure cycle, the pure mini automatically concentrates and discharges the thin oil (pat.).

At Japan Separator Co., Ltd., we assist in fully automating the production of coolant (cutting fluid) and its replenishment into tanks. Handmade and ejector-based fluid production is outdated! We manufacture and sell filtration devices capable of recovering fine particles from glass polishing, carbide polishing, quartz, and more. Founded in December 1993, we mainly handle oil recovery devices, backwash-type ultra-precision filtration devices, and automatic dilution supply devices for coolant. On March 18, 2021, we received the Invention Encouragement Award from the Japan Invention Promotion Association and the Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun. ♪ We will lend this device for free for one week. Please take this opportunity to thoroughly check its performance at your company. For more details, please apply through the inquiry section.
