Downtown FA coolant liquid automatic dilution device - affordable, abundant equipment supply.
FA50
Affordable and quick installation of automatic dilution and supply of coolant for small and medium-sized enterprises.
What kind of device is the downtown FA? It is a newly developed automatic dilution supply device for cutting oil aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises. With the intention of widespread adoption, the price is kept low, while ensuring that the necessary components for automation are firmly secured. The liquid is produced using the same method as handmade, and this device can continuously supply it to various machine tools. "For example, from measuring the liquid, mixing, to supply" is the minimum requirement for achieving automation and unmanned operation. When looking at the machining sites of small and medium-sized enterprises, it is still common to see manual operations or, at best, the use of ejectors for mixing, with manual delivery and lubrication being the norm, which is quite outdated. About 40 years ago, when the transition from LA (Low-Cost Automation) to NC machines occurred and NC became prevalent, the handmade methods of cutting oil and lubrication have hardly changed. Is it not necessary to direct our attention towards modernization for the operators who are striving in the field? This device automates the entire series of operations, eliminating all manual tasks, so there is no one in front of the water supply in the morning or evening. ~ This is the essence of downtown FA.

FA50 Coolant Liquid Automatic Dilution Supply Device - Control Panel Just press "Auto Start" to operate, and everything else is taken care of.
-

Concentration adjustment dial 0-15%: Just align the handle with the scale to achieve your desired concentration. Any concerns about concentration changes can be measured once a month, and on average, they remain within ±10% over the course of a year. Of course, due to evaporation, you should set the handle to 1/2 to 1/3 of your desired concentration.
-

You can easily see the currently running cycle. The red diode will light up when the concentrate runs out.
-

Ideal for automatic dilution and automatic supply of coolant (cutting fluid). Operators can focus on their work.
-

Method for Making Coolant Liquid Inside the Device The method for making coolant liquid is the same as the manual method: measure tap water and concentrate separately, adding the tap water to the tank first. Next, pour the measured concentrate into the tap water while thoroughly stirring with a propeller until the liquid is complete. "pat."

Method of Oil Supply Piping The piping from the main unit to each machine tool is connected to the tank of the machine tool using galvanized steel pipes, flexible pipes, etc. The float, motor valve, and control box are provided as a three-point set. The oil supply to the machine-side tank is not electrically connected to the main unit. There is always pressure in the piping on the machine side due to the pump, and the machine side independently controls the ON-OFF of the liquid. The opening and closing of the motor valve is carried out in conjunction with the float switch and control box.
-

- Mechanism of Float-Type Sensor A float is placed in the tank on the machine tool side, and by the switch inside the float turning ON-OFF, the motor valve is activated to supply oil. As explained in the diagram below, when the liquid in the left tank decreases and the float drops, the switch turns ON, activating the timer in the control box. Since the liquid level has only dropped slightly, the motor valve does not open yet. After the time set by the timer (for example, about 30 minutes), the motor valve turns ON, the valve opens, and the liquid sent from the pump enters the tank. The valve continues to remain open, and as the liquid level rises and presses the float switch, the timer's power is cut off, and the motor valve closes as well. The position to which the liquid level must drop to open the motor valve is determined by the timer. This method is cost-effective and highly reliable; however, if debris or bubbles accumulate around the float switch, it can cause the float to become locked. Therefore, if there is a lot of debris or bubbles, an alternative method will be used.
-

- Issues when there is a lot of garbage, bubbles, etc. Surround the float switch with an acrylic pipe to guard against debris and floating objects entering the float. A guide pipe is available as an option. If there is floating debris, clean it occasionally.
-

- Fixing the float and adjusting the height The float switch is mounted to float in the tank via a bracket. As shown in the diagram, one side is attached to the tank, and the other side is adjusted to the appropriate height using a rod screw. Brackets are provided.
