Case Study of Smoking Booth Introduction in Office - Human Centrics Co., Ltd.

"No smell of tobacco at all!" The introduction was triggered by a hands-on experience in the showroom: a smoking booth with a smoking separation cabin and smoke removal function.

In the process of relocating the office, we prioritized "measures against passive smoking" and "improvement of the office environment." In recent years, due to the decrease in smoking areas and the strengthening of regulations, securing indoor smoking spaces has become difficult, and we have been exploring methods with minimal construction burden. At the same time that we achieved a reduction in commuting time and an increase in productivity, the smell after smoking has almost disappeared, alleviating discomfort for non-smokers. Additionally, the open structure with transparent glass and no doors has made communication possible through the smoking cabin (smoking booth). As a result, a comfortable and balanced environment has been established for both smokers and non-smokers.
