Case study of decomposition of difficult-to-decompose substances using liquid plasma with a high-frequency pulse power supply!
We would like to introduce a case study on solving challenges in "low-temperature plasma power supply (in-liquid plasma)." The customer's issue in this case was the high treatment costs associated with wastewater treatment of difficult-to-decompose substances that cannot be processed by biological or chemical methods. In response, we developed a pulsed power supply with approximately one order of magnitude higher frequency using SiC power devices and a unique transformer structure. We created an in-liquid plasma system compatible with the power supply. Numerous decomposition experiments were conducted with users, demonstrating the ability to achieve high-efficiency treatment. [Case Overview] ■ Challenge: High treatment costs for wastewater treatment of difficult-to-decompose substances ■ Proposed Solution: Decomposition of difficult-to-decompose substances using high-frequency pulsed power supply with in-liquid plasma ■ Result: Demonstrated the ability to achieve high-efficiency treatment ■ Evaluation: Numerous inquiries expressing interest in jointly commercializing the system *For more details, please feel free to contact us.
