The PuraLev i30MU is a multi-use magnetic levitation bearing-less pump developed for bioprocess and pharmaceutical processes. Its compact design integrates the motor and controller, reducing wiring labor and achieving space-saving benefits. Thanks to magnetic levitation technology, the impeller floats non-contact within the pump casing and is driven by the rotating magnetic field of the motor. Its structure, which does not use bearings or seals, significantly reduces particle generation and contamination risks. The impeller and pump casing are made from resin materials that are biocompatible. The pump design minimizes the load on the fluid, contributing to the maintenance of quality for shear-sensitive fluids such as cells and culture media. Additionally, its structure makes it difficult for bacteria and contaminants to accumulate, enhancing hygiene. By combining flow sensors and pressure sensors, feedback control is achieved, enabling stable flow and pressure control. Depending on the application, standalone models, EasyConnect models, and OEM models are available. Furthermore, by connecting to a multi-pump system, multiple pumps can be networked for efficient control and monitoring.
