PuraLev 4000SU is a large-capacity single-use magnetic levitation bearingless pump developed for bioprocesses and pharmaceutical processes. It supports a maximum flow rate of 400 L/min. The magnetic levitation technology allows the impeller to float without contact and is driven by the rotation of the motor's magnetic field. Its structure, which does not use bearings or seals, suppresses particle generation and significantly reduces contamination risks. The impeller and pump casing are made of biocompatible polypropylene. It complies with various standards and certifications, making it suitable for biopharmaceutical manufacturing and cell culture processes. The bayonet-style socket allows for easy replacement. Additionally, a gamma-sterilized pump head is available, making it suitable for single-use processes. Designed to minimize the load on fluids, it contributes to maintaining the quality of shear-sensitive liquids such as cells and culture media. It also features a structure that minimizes the retention of bacteria and contaminants, enhancing hygiene. By combining flow sensors and pressure sensors, feedback control is made possible. Furthermore, by connecting to a multi-pump system, multiple pumps can be efficiently controlled and monitored.
