High-speed, high-precision control encoder input unit. Accurately counts encoder signals. Compact and easy to mount on DIN rail.
■ Product Overview: An industrial encoder input unit that supports EtherNet/IP networks and can count and manage encoder signals from motors and various rotating shafts with high precision. ■ Shape and Installation: Adopts a compact "Chuumaru-kun" series housing, making it easy to place on a DIN rail inside control panels. ■ Basic Performance: Signals support independent counting with two channels. The counted values and various settings are transferred in real-time to a higher-level PC or PLC via EtherNet/IP communication (CIP protocol). ■ Control and Wiring: Achieves advanced position and speed feedback control. The external connection terminal uses the widely adopted e-CON (4-pin) connector in the field. ■ Standards and Reliability: Complies with CE marking and RoHS directives, providing a reliable sensing environment under harsh FA manufacturing conditions.

Applications/Examples of results
■ Applications for counting pulse signals from rotary encoders mounted on conveyor belts, inverter motors, and various actuators at high speed and high precision in two axes simultaneously. ■ An inspection and packaging line that accurately holds and records the instantaneous encoder count value of product passage or positioning based on an external latch input signal (response time of 3μs or less). ■ Utilizing a compact body with a width of only 56mm and a DIN rail mount structure to create a space-saving wiring system by placing multiple units in gaps of control panels or inside junction boxes. ■ Equipment design aimed at preventing miswiring on-site while reducing maintenance time during sensor replacement or expansion by using e-CON connectors that allow for tool-free, one-touch wiring. ■ Operation in harsh factory environments where high-voltage equipment and motor drivers are adjacent, leveraging pulse transformer isolation and robust anti-static and impulse noise performance (compliant with international standard level 3). ■ Industrial equipment for export to European markets, requiring a wide operating ambient temperature range from -10°C to 60°C and compliance with CE marking (EMC directive class A, RoHS directive).
