This is a thermocouple wire encapsulated in a thin metal tube (stainless steel or Inconel) filled with powdered high-purity inorganic insulation (magnesium oxide) and processed into a unified structure. It has a small outer diameter and is highly flexible, making it easy to bend and form into shapes, allowing for simple attachment to small temperature measurement objects. It can respond sensitively to minute temperature changes. Since the wire is sealed, it is completely isolated from the outside air, providing excellent corrosion resistance and the ability to withstand high temperatures and high pressures.

【Operating Temperature Range】 (1) Type: K + Electrode: Chromel - Electrode: Alumel Temperature Range: -200℃ to 1,000℃ (Maximum Temperature: 1,200℃) It has good linearity of thermoelectric power and is the most commonly used in JIS thermocouples. (2) Type: E + Electrode: Chromel - Electrode: Constantan Temperature Range: -200℃ to 700℃ (Maximum Temperature: 800℃) It is less expensive than K and has better corrosion resistance than J. (1) Type: J + Electrode: Iron - Electrode: Constantan Temperature Range: 0℃ to 600℃ (Maximum Temperature: 750℃) It is used in the medium temperature range for industrial applications.
