Laser marker for traceability that assigns product identifiers to substrates.
LMS-K500ML (Inline CO2 Laser Marker / Supports Product-Specific Identifier Assignment and History Management)
Assign identifiers for each product directly to the circuit board, supporting the linkage between the circuit board and data necessary for regulatory compliance.
In regulatory compliance, including that of the European CRA, it is required to assign a unique identifier for each product. The LMS-K500ML serves as an inline CO2 laser marker placed upstream on the SMT assembly line, which can be utilized as a means to directly mark this identifier onto the substrate itself. 【Usage Scenarios】 - Directly print the product identifier as a unique ID (2D code, text) onto the substrate at the very beginning of the assembly line. - Manage the linkage of component lots and manufacturing history based on the substrate's unique ID. - Establish a foundation for linking the substrate and data necessary for regulatory compliance. 【Benefits of Implementation】 - Ensures reliable identification at the substrate level, preventing omissions in history management. - Since it is directly printed, the identifier remains readable throughout the product lifecycle. - Prevents the outflow of substrates with unreadable identifiers within the process through post-printing read verification.

basic information
This is a device specification based on the assignment of identifiers for each product and history management. 【Features】 - Equipped with KEYENCE 3-axis CO2 laser marker ML-Z9600 series (30W) for direct printing on substrates - High-density printing of identifiers using DataMatrix (ECC200), QR, Micro QR, etc. - Direct printing without labels or ink, ensuring no peeling or fading for long-term readability - The printed identifiers are read and verified by an image processing camera to prevent the outflow of products with missing records within the process - Links with MES and traceability database to associate identifiers with manufacturing history for log storage - Target substrates can be a maximum of 380×280mm and a minimum of 50×50mm, with a thickness of 0.6 to 2.2mm - Completely airless, no cooling water required, operates with only AC100V connection (200V specification also available) 【Our Strengths】 Approximately 30 years of experience in laser printing and traceability. Made in Japan, minimizing the risk of technical information leakage. We offer free test printing on actual substrates (work tests).
