By optimizing the friction characteristics, we resolved the feeding issues that were occurring with different types of paper. For paper feed rollers, it is important to select materials that consider not only "hard" or "soft" but also the friction coefficient with the paper and the surface condition. We propose polyurethane materials and hardness tailored to the type of paper and conveying conditions to address challenges such as "feeding performance varies with paper type" and "unstable paper feeding."
