I want to prototype electrodes that measure electromyography, electrocardiography, and electroencephalography, but I cannot perform printing or material formulation—this is an electrode film designed for such research environments. It has a silver/silver chloride (Ag/AgCl) electrode layer already formed, and it can be used simply by cutting and sticking it into the desired shape. SilkyLink MFX-1100 is a thin and flexible electrode material that has a silver/silver chloride (Ag/AgCl) electrode layer formed on a conductive polyurethane film. It can be cut and punched into the necessary shapes, allowing for prototyping and product development without the need to establish in-house processes for electrode formation such as paste formulation, printing, and drying. While silver/silver chloride paste (Peltron K-398X) is made by "freely printing," SilkyLink is characterized by being "pre-formed with functional layers and ready to use." It can be handled at low temperatures and is suitable for a wide range of applications, from electrocardiography and electromyography to electroencephalography and defibrillation pads.
