In research that requires electrodes that follow the movement of the body, such as wearable devices and attachments to curved surfaces, a layer of Ag/AgCl electrodes is formed on a flexible polyurethane film with a total thickness of approximately 103μm. SilkyLink MFX-1100 is a thin and flexible electrode material that has a silver/silver chloride (Ag/AgCl) electrode layer formed on a conductive polyurethane film. It can be cut and punched into the required shapes, allowing for prototype and product development without the need to establish in-house processes for electrode formation such as mixing, printing, and drying pastes. While silver/silver chloride paste (Peltron K-398X) is made by "printing freely," SilkyLink is characterized by being "pre-made with functional layers that can be used as is." It can be handled at low temperatures and is suitable for a wide range of applications, from electrocardiograms and electromyograms to defibrillation pads.
