[Case Study] AGV determines the presence of work and transports safely and accurately.
If you have any difficulties during the implementation, we will suggest custom specifications.
This is an introduction to a case study where an AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) is equipped with sensors for work detection. Typically, AGVs receive information about the presence or absence of work from load sensors installed at the receiving station to determine whether they can enter the station. In this case, due to the large number of receiving stations, it was anticipated that installing and wiring the load sensors would take considerable time. Therefore, we decided to equip the AGV itself with sensors to determine the presence or absence of work on the receiving station. If there is no work at the source, it will result in an error, and if there is work at the destination, it will also result in an error. This prevents the AGV from inadvertently crashing into the receiving station without the need for load sensors to be installed. This specification is also useful in simple control operations. *Simple control operation refers to operations that do not use a control panel to control the AGV.
