3-terminal type, surface mount type
It is implemented in the internal circuits of communication devices and is used to protect the equipment from induced voltages generated by communication lines and signal lines. This is a surface-mounted device that achieves higher durability than the conventional 3SD4 type. It has the same external dimensions as the conventional 3SD4 series, and the substrate land pattern is common. Therefore, no redesign is necessary when switching to this product.

Since its founding in 1930, Sankosha has expanded its business in response to the needs of the times, from the design and manufacturing of communication security devices and lightning rods to the design and manufacturing of meteorological observation instruments and optical technology-related equipment. Additionally, we established Franklin Japan (in Sagamihara City), a lightning and weather information company, and provide high-precision lightning strike information services through a lightning observation network installed throughout Japan, solidifying our position as the world's only comprehensive company related to 'lightning,' from observation to protection.
