Non-destructive and high-precision detection of corrosion under insulation materials and coatings!
Lyft is a state-of-the-art Pulsed Eddy Current (PEC) inspection system that can non-destructively and accurately assess corrosion under insulation (CUI) and coatings. It visualizes remaining wall thickness and the progression of corrosion in real-time C-scans without the need to dismantle insulation or fireproof materials, which was difficult with conventional methods. It accommodates a variety of insulation covers made from materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and galvanized steel, as well as insulation thicknesses of up to 300mm. With a robust design compliant with IP65, intuitive multi-touch operation, and automatic optimization through SmartPULSE, it enables rapid and reliable inspections in the field. Equipped with a variety of probes and advanced analysis and reporting features, it provides new value for the health assessment of industrial facilities.

Applications/Examples of results
◆ Utilized for equipment integrity assessment in industrial plants, oil and chemical facilities, and power plants. ◆ Non-destructive testing of corrosion under insulation (CUI), under coatings, floating rust, and flow-accelerated corrosion (FAC). ◆ Real-time visualization of remaining wall thickness and corrosion progression of pipes, tanks, pressure vessels, and storage tank bottoms without dismantling insulation or sheet metal. ◆ Capable of addressing CUI in underwater and tidal zones, as well as under galvanized steel, even in special shapes and high-temperature environments with dedicated probes. ◆ Immediate analysis and reporting of inspection data on-site, contributing to facility integrity assessment, optimization of maintenance plans, and accident prevention. ◆ Smooth on-site implementation through Eddyfi-certified training programs.
