The M2SL225 is a high-precision 2D/3D profile sensor that employs laser triangulation technology. It projects a laser beam onto the target object and measures the height and shape of the object non-contact using the principle of triangulation. The internal camera detects the laser line, generating an accurate height profile, allowing for fast and precise acquisition of the object's shape and dimensions. It supports up to 1,280 measurement points per profile and is suitable for various industrial applications, including measuring complex shapes, dimensional inspection, and position detection. Additionally, it features an open interface compatible with DLL program libraries and GigE Vision, making it easy to integrate into existing PC systems and image processing environments without the need for a dedicated control unit. It is also compatible with wenglor's proprietary software package. The M2SL series features a stainless steel housing (1.4404 / 316L) and complies with IP67 / IP69K and ECOLAB standards. It is suitable for harsh environments where washing is performed, making it ideal for use in various industrial facilities, including those related to food, beverage, and pharmaceuticals.
