We are developing and manufacturing a "charge and discharge testing device" for the final process of battery manufacturing to create a "battery" that can store high energy.
The newly developed AC regenerative power supply equipped with bidirectional PFC achieves high precision and fast response that were previously impossible, while realizing double the power at half the cost. By using the power during discharge in the inspection process to supply peripheral devices without wasting it as heat, we can minimize power consumption. By reducing heat generation, we can also reduce the size of the equipment, extend its lifespan, and secure a greater production volume within the same volume.

In the smart grid expected in the near future, batteries capable of storing electricity will be needed for various applications, ranging from small-scale residential use to large-scale support for city power during emergencies. Converters are required to efficiently store electricity from power plants and solar power, which vary in scale and type. Charging stations that can efficiently charge electric vehicles, which are expected to become widespread, are also necessary. The installation of batteries in evacuation shelters to prepare for disasters and mobile power supply vehicles are important as well. To use electricity more efficiently in homes and businesses, we can leverage the know-how gained from various charging and discharging testing devices in energy management systems such as HEMS and BEMS. Currently, the development of next-generation batteries, including lithium-ion batteries, is becoming active, and manufacturers are increasingly demanding higher precision.
