We would like to introduce a case study of the introduction of the laser welding machine "T-LASER" for mold repair to customers engaged in precision machining, precision micro welding, and electrolytic polishing. About ten years ago, we were using a YAG laser welding machine to weld thermocouples onto tungsten heater chips. The existing welding machine did not have sufficient output, which resulted in the inability to completely melt the workpiece, leading to issues with insufficient welding strength and defects. With the new machine, we were able to confirm the welding marks on the back side of the joint, which we could not verify before, and we could easily join 2mm thick SUS plates. Since its introduction, there have been no reports of defects for over six months, maintaining zero defects for our customers.
