We would like to introduce a case where our customer, who designs, develops, and manufactures die-casting molds, implemented the laser welding machine "T-LASER" for mold repair. They used to outsource mold repairs about three times a week, driving 10 minutes to their outsourcing partner to handle the molds. After welding repairs, there were issues during finishing processes, leading to the need for additional outsourcing about once a week. This sometimes caused delays in the production process, making urgent situations particularly challenging. For relatively simple shapes, they performed welding repairs in-house, while complex shapes were outsourced, resulting in a cost reduction of about 500,000 yen.
