"Automatic wiring, begins." Molybdenum wire electrical discharge machine HG400

The molybdenum wire electrical discharge machining (EDM) machine features a mechanism that allows the same wire to be used in both forward and reverse directions in a circulating manner. Unlike brass wire, which is designed for single use, this system reduces the frequency of wire replacement, significantly lowering running costs. However, due to the structure that circulates the wire, there were challenges in setup, particularly with the "wiring work." In internal diameter processing, human intervention was required to thread the wire through the workpiece's pilot hole and perform the wiring, making unmanned operation during nights and holidays difficult. The new HG series has achieved automatic wiring with molybdenum wire through a uniquely developed mechanism, eliminating the need for operators to be constantly present at the machine. Running costs have been halved, and operators are freed from wiring tasks. These two previously conflicting elements are now balanced in the HG series.
