The "New-FM Series NY100A / MNY100A" from Nichiko Electric Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a 100AF wiring circuit breaker that adopts a fully electromagnetic design using an oil dashpot. It ensures reliable operation unaffected by temperature rises within the panel or changes in external temperatures, and allows for immediate re-engagement right after tripping. It is available in two types: the wiring protection type "NY100A" for main and branch lines, and the "MNY100A" which also provides motor protection.

Completely electromagnetic (oil dashpot type) and unaffected by ambient temperature. Unlike bimetallic (thermal) types, the trip characteristics do not fluctuate (drift) due to increases in internal temperature or temperature differences. Even in large current panels where heat tends to accumulate, it provides reliable protection as per the design rating. Zero cooling wait. Immediate re-engagement after a trip improves operational efficiency. If the causes of overcurrent and short-circuit incidents are eliminated, the lever can be re-engaged on the spot without waiting for the bimetal to cool down. This minimizes equipment downtime. Stable large-capacity protection in the 100AF class. Ideal for overload and short-circuit protection of relatively large capacity main and branch circuits, such as machine tools, large power panels, and factory trunk circuits. Two systems available for wiring and motor protection. Wiring protection (NY102A / NY103A): Overload and short-circuit protection for main lines and wires (2P / 3P). Combined motor protection (MNY103A): Allows large currents during startup to pass through while reliably detecting overloads, constraints, and short circuits during operation (3P).
