【Lecture Overview】 This presentation will introduce Tokyo Gas's efforts toward the social implementation of carbon-neutral gases, specifically e-methane and biomethane. By maximizing the use of overseas LNG liquefaction facilities, LNG transport ships, Japan's LNG receiving terminals, city gas pipelines, and consumer equipment, we are working to expand the introduction of carbon-neutral gases as an important option for decarbonizing thermal demand, which is difficult to address through electrification alone.
