The TE255 is a transmissive chart (diffuser plate) designed to measure shading and vignetting in digital cameras. It has a very low transmittance* and can be used in combination with light sources such as the LE7 integrating sphere or light boxes like LG3 and LG4. *Transmittance: 84% (400–800 nm) The current version of the TE255, TE255 V2, has a matte finish and comes with a diffuser cap for spectrometers. When using the TE255 V2 in conjunction with the LE7, attaching the diffuser cap to the fiber entrance of the built-in spectrometer in the LE7 ensures that the measurements taken by the spectrometer match the light emitted from the LE7.
