basic information
【Lecture Overview】 In response to the Paris Agreement and the recommendations of the SDGs, both domestically and internationally, there is a demand for the realization of a carbon-circulating society, balancing "the resolution of social issues" with "sustainable economic growth," leading to heightened expectations for the bioeconomy. In Japan, a bioeconomy strategy has been formulated, and policies that contribute to the realization of the bioeconomy are being strongly promoted. Against this backdrop, NEDO is advancing technological development in the field of bio-manufacturing and is supporting the promotion of new entrants into this field and the commercialization of bio-manufactured products. This lecture will particularly explain the results of NEDO projects and initiatives toward social implementation for companies considering entry into the bio-manufacturing sector. 【Lecture Items】 ■ About NEDO ■ What is Bio-Manufacturing? ■ Overview of Bio-Manufacturing Projects Promoted by NEDO ■ Results of Bio-Manufacturing Projects and Initiatives for Social Implementation ■ How to Utilize the Results of Bio-Manufacturing Projects and NEDO Projects ■ Related Q&A ■ Business Card Exchange and Networking (for on-site attendees only)
