Back Number [September 2026] Dimmer Roller Screen [Bizik]
Bizzic
Toso, the first company to launch dimmable roller screens in Japan, has renewed the Bizik, which combines lace and drape in one unit, in June!
The dimmable roller screen, which has now become a standard window decoration, was first launched in Japan by TOSO with the introduction of "VISIC" in 2008. At that time, the roller screen market was saturated, and novelty was fading as similar products from various manufacturers lined the shelves. To break through this situation, TOSO focused on a dimmable screen with unique visual effects that were not available from other companies, combining it with their original "Screen U-Turn System" to create "VISIC." The product name is derived from Visual + Magic = VISIC (visual + mysterious charm). Even after 19 years since its launch, it remains a popular product that drives roller screen sales. Recently, the dimmable roller screen trend has reignited, particularly on social media, and further market expansion is anticipated. The "VISIC" will be renewed in June 2026, with the addition of a new fabric called "Riola Light." Three major points of "VISIC": (1) A structure that combines both lace and drape functions in one unit (2) A gradient screen that is not influenced by trends (3) A new fabric "Riola Light" that efficiently brings in light from outside For more details, please refer to the PDF materials and related links.

basic information
■Structure The "Screen U-Turn System" attaches fabric that combines drape and lace in a U-shape to the main body of the roller screen. By adjusting the overlap of the fabric during the raising and lowering operation, you can freely control everything from light intake to privacy. ■Gradient Screen [Toki Iro] Creates a gradient atmosphere that can only be expressed with fabric that overlaps front and back. Achieves a unique window design that is not influenced by trends. ■New Fabric [Riola Light Intake] Uses [WAVERON] for the lace fabric. By refracting and diffusing light from outside, it achieves light control, light intake, and image blocking. It addresses common concerns with dimmable roller screens such as "worrying about transparency at night" and "wanting to control light while still allowing light in." * [WAVERON] is a material from Teijin Frontier Co., Ltd. * For details on available dimensions, operation methods, and fabric variations, please contact us.
