Juralon flat washer / CC
This product is a flat washer made of Delrin (polyacetal/POM), which has excellent mechanical strength, wear resistance, and low friction properties. It is used by being sandwiched between the bolt or screw and the counterpart material during tightening. By distributing the load when tightening the screw over a wide area, it reduces the stress on the tightening surface, helps prevent dents and scratches on the counterpart material, and protects the seating surface. Additionally, using a flat washer stabilizes the fastening surface and supports the tightening condition of the bolt or screw. In addition to the excellent electrical insulation and chemical resistance unique to Delrin, it is lightweight compared to metal and has superior friction and wear characteristics. It also takes advantage of its property of being less likely to damage the counterpart material compared to metal washers, making it suitable for insulation applications in electrical and electronic devices, as well as for assemblies where lightweight, low friction, and wear resistance are required around movable parts.
