Black Duracon Flat Washer / CC-B
This product is a flat washer colored black, made from Delrin (polyacetal/POM), which has excellent mechanical strength, wear resistance, and low friction properties. It is used by inserting it between the fastener and the counterpart material during the tightening of bolts and screws. By distributing the load when tightening screws over a wide area, it reduces the stress on the tightening surface, helps prevent dents and scratches on the counterpart material, and protects the seating surface. Additionally, using a flat washer stabilizes the fastening surface and supports the tightening condition of bolts and screws. In addition to the excellent electrical insulation and chemical resistance unique to Delrin, it is lightweight compared to metals and has properties that make it less likely to damage the counterpart material. Furthermore, it has a calm appearance due to the black coloring, making it easy to use in equipment interiors where light reflection needs to be minimized, as well as in areas that consider aesthetic design.
