PPS flat washer / PSW
This product is a flat washer made from PPS (polyphenylene sulfide), which has excellent heat resistance, flame retardancy, high rigidity, and dimensional stability. It is used by inserting it between the fastener and the material being fastened during the tightening of bolts and screws. By distributing the load when tightening screws over a wide area, it reduces the stress on the tightening surface, helps prevent dents and scratches on the counterpart material, and protects the seating surface. Additionally, using a flat washer stabilizes the fastening surface and supports the tightening condition of the bolts and screws. In addition to the excellent heat resistance, flame retardancy, and high mechanical strength and rigidity unique to PPS, it also possesses excellent chemical resistance, electrical insulation, and dimensional stability. This resin flat washer is suitable for fastening components in various industrial machinery, electrical and electronic devices, and equipment that require resistance to high temperatures, chemicals, and electrical insulation.
