PPS is an engineering plastic that excels in heat resistance and dimensional stability. Additionally, the material grade with UL94 V-0 equivalent flame retardancy is suitable for applications that require high flame resistance. The resin body does not develop rust like metal, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including those in high humidity environments, where metal corrosion is to be avoided, and in environments that come into contact with chemicals. Due to its excellent electrical insulation properties, it serves as a fastening component that helps prevent electrical separation and shorts in circuit board mounting.
