Support for strengthening the automotive supply chain and optimizing procurement.
If semiconductors stop, cars stop. We need procurement risk management that extends visibility down to Tier 2 and below.
In the semiconductor shortage of 2021, global automobile manufacturers were forced to reduce production one after another. The completed vehicle manufacturers can only grasp the risks up to Tier 1, and the risks of semiconductor manufacturers and production sites beyond that are not visible. This service visualizes the linkage between vehicle parts lists and the upstream semiconductor supply chain, quantifying risks for each item, and provides phased support for multi-sourcing, strategic inventory, and incorporating alternatives during the design stage. There is no need to start with large-scale system investments; you can begin with the semiconductors that have a significant impact on production. We are accepting supply chain vulnerability assessments (free of charge). Please feel free to contact us if you have any requests.
