The "Jorlon Diaphragm" is made of structurally reinforced pure PTFE material. The PTFE layer is manufactured using a unique technology that involves accumulation and molding through a special process that reduces creep and cold flow, which typically occur in solid or laminated PTFE and fluoropolymer materials. It is used in all Steriflow valve products and has demonstrated over 100 times the durability compared to SS materials after failure in a lifespan comparison test with 316L.
